Today, the NewBec Empowerment Foundation team had the honor of paying a courtesy visit to Hon. Linda Aliu Omonzele, the distinguished Member representing Esan Central at the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOPADEC). The visit took place at her office in Benin City and marked an important step in strengthening collaborative efforts aimed at uplifting marginalized communities across Edo State.
During the meeting, the Foundation introduced its core programs, including Education and Skill Development, Economic Empowerment, Community Health and Well-being, and Social Inclusion Initiatives, highlighting their impact across grassroots communities. The discussion focused on shared goals—particularly in the areas of youth empowerment, women-led enterprise support, and sustainable development in oil-producing regions.
Hon. Omonzele expressed her appreciation for the Foundation’s work and reaffirmed her commitment to initiatives that promote inclusive development in Esan Central and beyond. She emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships in accelerating progress and welcomed future collaborations that would enhance access to training, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities.
This visit reflects NewBec Foundation’s continued dedication to working hand-in-hand with government leaders, stakeholders, and community champions to create sustainable change. Together, we are building a future where no one is left behind.
