SOS Children’s Village Partners with NewBec Empowerment Foundation to Host Community Forum at Edo Innovation Hub

In a joint effort to strengthen community engagement and promote child welfare, SOS Children’s Village, an international non-governmental organization, in collaboration with the NewBec Empowerment Foundation, will host a Community Forum tomorrow, Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Edo Innovation Hub, ICE Road, off Wire Road, Benin City.

The forum seeks to foster dialogue and partnership among key community stakeholders on issues affecting children, families, and grassroots development. This initiative is part of SOS Children’s Village’s ongoing commitment to empowering communities and building strong support systems for children and families.

NewBec Empowerment Foundation has been tasked with mobilizing 25 representatives from the Ihogbe community to participate in the program. Expected attendees include:

Traditional Leaders and Council Members

Community Development and Welfare Association Leaders

Religious Leaders (Christians and Muslims)

Women Leaders

Youth Leaders

Market Women Group Leaders

Health Workers

Principals, Headmasters, and Teachers from Public Schools

PTA Leaders

Members of Community Security Networks
